Atul is the founder and managing director at NBI Biosciences. The company operates in the Biotechnology industry, producing some of the leading new, scientifically proven, medicinal formulations.
Atul began his career in financial services for over 10 years with Citibank and GE Capital. Thereafter, Atul joined Amrop as its founder, creating one of the finest executive search businesses in the country also serving on its Global Board. He sets himself apart by his obvious passion for building businesses, creative problem solving and for bringing innovative approaches to his clients. In 2016, he moved from Amrop to build the groups adjunct interest in organizational consulting.
Atul is an Honors Graduate in Physics from Delhi University and has a Master’s in Business Administration (Finance & Marketing).

Anjali has been a Director at NBI for over 3 years and she leads various strategic board projects in the commercial and financial functions. She developed the innovation and commercial prioritization framework, factoring in global patient data, technology analysis, and profit potential.
Anjali manages our go-to-market execution with various stakeholders and continues to assist with process management and expertise building in our team. She has worked on assessing our frugal innovation team (FIT) and advises NBI on pursuing strategic R&D partnerships and Specialists for each customized patent that NBI develops. She also co-invented the Insulin Colon delivery product.
Board Director
Puneet advises companies, boards of directors, and financial institutions on a wide range of commercial and corporate matters, including acquisitions, corporate governance, corporate and securities law advisory matters. Puneet has also worked on complex shareholder disputes and international commercial arbitrations.
Puneet is an alumnus of the National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata. He was previously with the corporate practice group of Khaitan & Co.
Puneet has advised several domestic and foreign clients in acquisitions and corporate disputes including Rakesh Gangwal (promoter-director of InterGlobe Aviation Limited), Reliance Jio Infocom Limited, Global Infrastructure Partners, Parksons Packaging, Usha Martin Limited, Shapoorji Pallonji Infrastructure, National Payments Corporation of India, and Silverpeak.
Board Advisor
Dr Aashish Gambhir is a dynamic physician obtaining his graduate degree in medicine from the prestigious MAMC medical College in Delhi. He specialised in super speciality subjects pertaining to modern medicine with significant clinical exposure. Later he obtained Diploma in Radiation Medicine (DRM), a post graduate qualification in the rapidly advancing field of nuclear medicine from the defence research institution (DRDO– INMAS). During this period, he obtained accolades, such as the gold medal for his paper on parathyroid Imaging. He developed this further at leading national institutions such as the Apollo hospitals, Chennai, where he received extensive clinical training in gamma camera/SPECT Imaging, PET imaging and nuclear Theragnostic while working with multiple radio tracers for and Investigative and therapeutic purposes. Dr Gambhir is certified by the Atomic Energy Review Board. (AERB). Over the last 12 years he has been operating as consultant and at various facilities in the country Including House of Diagnostics, Yashoda Hospitals, Narula Diagnostic and Ganesh Diagnostics which offer a full suite of nuclear medicines studies for patients.
He has been actively involved in pharmaco-scintigraphy work and remains an active member of the society for nuclear medicine in India. He has an active understanding of plant based long chain molecules, which often promise a reduction of side-effects (as opposed to chemically synthesised drugs). At NBI Biosciences he has led and been closely associated with experiments using Scintigraphy Showing the efficacy of certain plant derived molecules replacing carbidopa with greater efficacy in Parkinson’s disease. He has also Investigated the delivery technology (SLIDD) to the human colon. Both of these have been patented by NBI Biosciences.
Board Advisor
Dr. Priti Vaidyanathan, with a PhD specialization in Biochemistry and Masters in Plant Science, has been closely involved in research activities related to natural products and their biological activities for almost 2 decades now. She has served in both research and techno-commercial roles and has been in the industry working with eminent scientists from across the world.
She has undergone special training on Metabolomics from Leiden University, Netherlands. Her rich experience in natural product chemistry comes from post-doctoral positions at Agricultural University and Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. She has over 20 publications in peer reviewed journals and 4 patents in her name. Through her career, she has worked with multiple functions such as raw material procurement, extraction & isolation, formulation development and clinical research teams, thus having a 360o understanding of natural product development. A University Gold Medalist, she has also won the DST award and participated in several national and international conferences / workshops.
